First State event for the season decided
West Sales Gail McKenzie has made it a 4-peat winning the NGBD 60 and Over Singles at Maffra BC today.
Gail was relatively untroubled in her quarter and Semi finals but came from behind against a determined Julie Simic to secure the narrowest of victories 21-20. Julie had earlier accounted for Kay Thompson and Jan Morton to reach her first final.
